What time is everything?
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00PM so please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to that in order to find your seat. Cocktail hour will immediately follow with dinner expected to start around 6:00PM. The reception will end at 11:00PM, but please feel free to Irish Goodbye whenever you want once the dancing begins!
When should I RSVP? What happens if I'm late?
Please RSVP no later than February 21, 2026.
In the event that we have not heard from you by February 21st, you will be contacted by someone within the wedding party. After a certain number of attempts to obtain a RSVP, we will assume you are not coming and you will not be included in the final head count.
Do I get a Plus One?
To attempt to stay at or below or budgeted guest count, unless there is a guest specified on your invitation, no plus ones are allowed. We have reserved the "unnamed plus ones" to those who would be traveling a large distance alone or will not know anyone else in attendance at the wedding.
Can I bring my kids?
While we would love to have all of the kids of our friends and family in attendance, we had to keep our guest number maximum in mind. Because of this we have kept our tiny human guest list to just those guests from out of state and those involved with the wedding.
What is the weather like in Michigan in April?
Honestly, it can either be chilly or hot. April can be unpredictable. If you are from a southern state, just bring a sweater for the ceremony just in case it's too cold for you! For reference, the weekend of April 18, 2025 highs ranged from 55-75 degrees over three days.
In the case of bad rain, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the reception area.
Is there a dress code? What should I wear?
The vibes are forest fantasy/galaxy, so take that how you wish! Just please don't wear jeans or anything where the main color is white (if its a floral dress with a white background...that is completely fine)
Will there be parking?
Yes! There will be plenty of parking at the venue. It will be right as you enter the property. There are 6 handicap parking spots for anyone who needs them. There will also be a golf cart for anyone who needs assistance getting from the parking lot over to the ceremony spot.
Can I take photos & videos during the ceremony?
No. We ask that everyone put their phones away for the duration of the ceremony once it has begun so that no one gets in the way of our photographers.
Will there be food & drinks during cocktail hour?
Yes! Please enjoy some light appetizers, drinks, and games while you wait for the reception to begin.
Will there be alcohol?
Yes, we will have an open bar available during both cocktail hour & the reception. Please help us make sure there's enough of everything for everyone by indicating your preferred beverage type on your RSVP. There will be plenty of non-alcoholic options as well.
I have a food allergy/special diet, can I make a special request?
Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions. We will do our best to accommodate these with our caterer. We will let you know ahead of time if something cannot be figured out for you.
Is there a gift registry?
Your presence is a gift enough but yes, you will find this on the Registry tab here on our website! We do not need much, as we already live together, so we have made a list of some upgrades and fun things for our family to enjoy. There is also a list of gift cards and a honeymoon fund as options for non-cash gifts! If sending something ahead of time, please make sure to include your name so we can send you a Thank You card!
I'm coming from out of state, help!
We have secured a hotel block for any out of town guests that need accommodations! If you wish to find something else, like an AirBNB or another hotel and need help with the area, we are happy to help!
If you are in need of transportation to and from the venue, we will be coordinating that with anyone who says so on their RSVP submission! If you will be flying and need help getting to and from the airport, please reach out and we can figure something out! (Though I recommend renting a car if feasible)
I have more questions, who should I contact?
While we will probably answer because we live on our phones, if you need a question answered within a month of the wedding, please reach out to the Maid of Honor (Emily - ###-###-####) or the Matron of Honor (Lauren - ###-###-####)
